Nespresso bundle complete with travel mug, milk frother and 'excellent' machine almost £100 cheaper in Amazon deal

Amazon has knocked 40 per cent off a Nespresso bundle complete with travel mug, milk frother and 'excellent' machine which is perfect for hot weather. The bundle was £166.32, but has now been reduced to just £99.99.

The Nespresso Coffee Machine Bundle includes an Aeroccino3 Milk Frother, ice cube tray, a tumbler for cold coffee on the go, and 20 capsules in Ice Leggero and Tropical Coconut over ice flavour along with the coveted Nespresso Vertuo Pop.

The bundle is designed for hot weather. To make an iced latte, just brew the capsules and pour them over ice with frothed milk.

You can also make an iced Americano by pouring a shot of espresso over ice and water. The Vertuo Pop makes five different coffee sizes: espresso 40ml, double espresso 80ml, gran lungo 150ml, large mug 230ml and alto 414ml.

The Vertuo heats up in 30 seconds and has a simple one-button operation. It also includes automatic coffee pod ejection.

The bundle has four out of five stars on Amazon. One person called it an "excellent coffee maker" as another said: "Great looking product. Takes up little space in the kitchen and makes great coffee. Very quiet compared to its other competitors."

A third person said "It’s great, I now spend so much money for the capsules cos I can’t go one day without the coffee this machine puts out. Looks nice in my kitchen."

However, one disgruntled customer added "I was soooo excited about trying this but, ugh. To be honest, there isn't a lot good to say about it. In person, it's small enough so it will fit even smaller kitchens comfortably, but it feels really cheap. It's plasticky and slightly flimsy feeling. We got it in red, so I'm wondering if one of the other colours would be nicer.

"It's simple to use - you just put the pod in, and it does the rest. But here there are problems, too. Primarily, the pods are ridiculously expensive - it's absurd. You're looking at a couple of quid per coffee; may as well get it made for you in Starbucks.

"And, secondly, if you're going to be paying through the nose for it, you want your coffee to be spectacular, and this wasn't. It was too strong, and didn't taste any fresher than our big tub of Nescafe Americano Instant. We adore coffee in our house, and we've never had a proper coffee maker, so we thought this would be amazing.
