Aug 27, 2023

A white BMW sedan crashed into the front of Dixie Pig BBQ in Blytheville on Saturday, according an announcement on the restaurant’s Facebook page.

Luckily, the famed Northeast Arkansas barbecue joint was closed when the unfortunate incident occurred.

“At the moment, we are working diligently to assess the damage and we are committed to resolving the situation as soon as possible and getting back on track to serving our wonderful customers,” the Facebook post says.

The Dixie Pig is a participating restaurant on the Arkansas Times Arkansas Barbecue Trail and Passport, so we’ll be reporting back on the status of the reopening.
